22 Oct 2005. Alexander's team won their cricket match today, literally in the closing seconds. Alexander had a blinder of a day, beginning with two catches, then a wicket (a catch by a teammate) and finishing up with 23 runs including two 4s. It felt right after this to go and buy him a bat, pads and helmet, and we look forward to next week's game.

13 Aug 2005. Alexander's team beat Glenmore Park 2-1. Angus' team drew 1-1 against an undefeated Springwood team (meaning Angus' team hasn't lost in 13 games). Cameron and Brendan went down 2-0 against Claremont Meadows, but their coach says it's the best they've ever played - CM previously beat Blaxland 9-0 and shouldn't even be in our division.

12 Aug 2005. Alexander won the 800m at the Diocesan athletics meet at Blacktown (12 schools). His team also came 2nd in the 4 x 100m relay. His time for the 800m was a PB of 2-47.2.
