Day 43: Friday 11 July 2003. Los Angeles to Sydney, and Faulconbridge.
We left Los Angeles at 11.30pm on Wednesday 9th. We had a few hours of Thursday 10th before crossing the International Date Line and switching to Friday 11th. The entire flight 14.5-hour flight took place in darkness, so the only photos are of the boys playing seatback games (eg Gold Digger, Hangman and an Aseroids clone). We landed at 6am exactly, took a train to Central and then another to Faulconbridge. It was a long day - at 2pm Cameron, Brendan and I switched off, and slept for over 12 hours, waking early Saturday morning.
