Flying
From 
the time I was eight I was fascinated by aircraft. I don't know
whether it started with the Airfix De Havilland Heron, or the
little books with pictures of jet fighters like the Starfighter, the
Voodoo and the Lightning, or whether these were presents inspired by my
interest, but I was sure then that flying would be a part of my future.
I certainly didn't think it would take as long as it has to learn to fly, or that I
would have to pay for it myself, but, better late than never.
