Jim Crooks looked after us well, filling our tanks for £1 and charging £5 for a dive from his very nippy little boat "Osprey" which is about the size of a mini with twin 50hp Yamaha outboards. The water was clear as crystal, and the seals were correspondingly bold - swimming right up to us before turning with a flick of the fins and disappearing behind rocks and kelp. Also interesting sponges, crabs, fish and dead men's fingers. Excellent meal in the pub - squid rings in garlic and scampi for about £1.50 each. Lovely! |
